Kylie Bell – Director
I am a leadership and organisational development specialist with a passion for helping leaders create workplaces where wellbeing and performance strengthen one another.
With more than 15 years’ experience working with leaders and teams, and 10 years in senior leadership roles across diverse organisational and creative environments, I understand both the opportunities and the challenges of leading under pressure.
My current research explores the application of Attachment Theory in leadership, examining how leaders’ beliefs about trust, safety and connection influence behaviours such as empathy, collaboration, feedback and accountability. This research underpins my consulting, workshops, leadership program and forthcoming book, The Secure Leader. At the heart of my work is the belief that sustainable high performance is built on the quality of relationships within an organisation, particularly those between leaders and their teams.
I work alongside the Wren Learning team – an interdisciplinary group of educators, researchers and program designers committed to translating research into practical leadership development that creates lasting change.
Outside work I’m always keen on a bike ride with my husband if there’s a cafe involved – we call ourselves ‘urban backstreet bikers’. We love hanging out with our four adult sons, and will always say yes to a long lunch with good friends at a winery. Current mindfulness obsessions are jigsaws and float tanks.
